Saying he wasn't a Penn State employee when he committed his crimes, Commonwealth Court on Friday ordered the reinstatement of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's $4,900-a-month state pension. The court also ordered the Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement Board to pay Sandusky 6 percent annual interest on the benefits it denied him after his 2012 convictions for molesting young boys. "There exists no statute which affirmatively requires the board to deny (Sandusky's) withheld retirement allowances," President Judge Dan Pellegrini wrote in the Commonwealth Court opinion....
