A judge declared a mistrial Friday in the case of a Dallas radio disc jockey accused of raping a 14-year-old girl. Anthony Salvatori, 45, faced between two and 20 years in prison on charges of sexual assault and indecency with a child. Both sides agreed to a mistrial after the jury could not agree on a verdict despite more than four hours of deliberation over the course of two days. Evidence from the two-day trial showed that Salvatori was working at “Kiss FM” KHKS-FM (106.1) in 1999 when a girl called the radio station trying to win ’N Sync concert tickets.
