Summit County authorities decided to exhume the body of Margaret Purk four years ago after discussions with the detective leading the investigation of her death. It was done in September 2011, but in the month before that decision was made, Stow Police Detective Ken Mifflin talked to the man who eventually would be charged with her murder.
